Stronghold Womens Arms Training (S.W.A.T.)Self defense for women is an important and quickly growing issue. With crime rates on the rise and physical ability differences of violent offenders vs. women, Firearms have become the method of choice for self defense. Stronghold proudly offers firearm classes developed by a women for a women. Our female instructor is very knowledgable and experienced with firearms and the best part is women can now take basic and advanced classes that are women specific in a no pressure environment and not have to feel uncomfortable or intimidated. Stronghold Firearm Training volunteers for Boy Scouts of America
When Boy Scouts of America wants to take their boys to the shooting range, they must be accompanied by an NRA range safety officer. When their regular RSO backed out last minute, I volunteered my time so the boys didnt get the trip cancelled on them. I had one of the best times at the shooting range that I can remember. All of the kids had such a good time and it was great to see some fathers out there spending time with their sons. We had about 20 Boy Scouts, some as young as 11 years old on the line shooting a vast lineup of rifles and shotguns at various different targets. Everyone followed the stronghold safety plan and was able to have fun while being safe. Stronghold is a strong supporter of youth programs and looks forward to taking the boy scouts to the gun range again.
